WHAT THIS COURSE IS FOR:

Instrument Rating course IR(A) extends a qualification and privileges of EASA PPL(A) or CPL(A) and allows a pilot to fly according to Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) with a minimum decision height for the landing of 60m (200 feet).
We provide Instrument Rating training for both Single engine Instrument Rating and Multi engine Instrument Rating airplanes - you will get your IR SE(A) or/and ME IR(A) qualification added to EASA pilot license.

WHAT DOES IT CONSIST OF:

Flight training
for SE IR(A) - Single engine Instrument Rating - consists of 50 flight hours,
for ME IR(A) - Multi engine Instrument Rating – consists of 50+5 flight hours.
If you are CPL(A) holder flight training hours are reduced by 10 hours.

WHAT ARE THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

⋅ a minimum of 50 hours of cross-country flight time as pilot-in-command;
⋅ English language Proficiency Level 4 or higher
⋅ completed EASA ATPL Theory (exams completion certificate);
⋅ valid EASA PPL license;
⋅ medical certificate of Class 1 (with audio extension) or Class 2.

WHERE IS THE COURSE CONDUCTED:

The Instrument Rating course is conducted at our main location in Spain near the Madrid - Aerodromo de Casarrubios. Our student campus with accommodation and restaurant, main office and hangar for aircraft maintenance are located there. IFR Flights are made to Madrid, Zaragoza, Salamanca, Albacete and many others international airports.

WHAT IS THE DURATION OF THE COURSE:

The average duration of IR courses at FlyUp Academy is 3-4 weeks depending on the student's availability, previous experience, and study progress. Our scheduling policy is very flexible and we are able to arrange both full- and part-time pilot training based on your individual preferences.

WHAT IS THE PRICE:

Price: 16440
This price includes all theoretical and practical training, flight uniform, and fuel surcharges.
This price does not include:
⋅ fees for medical assessment and issuance of a medical certificate - paid at the medical center (200€);
⋅ skill test fee and license issuance fee - paid to the Civil Aviation Authority (200€);
⋅ on-campus accommodation with own kitchen (15€/night).
We do not charge any additional fees such as landing fees, fuel surcharges, etc.

HOW TO START THE COURSE:

To enroll in the program, you need to follow this simple procedure:

1) Fill in our Online application form
Please contact us, and our training consultants will provide you with all the information about the training program as well as answer all of your questions. When you decide to enroll in the course, your consultant will send you a link to the application form.

2) Sign a Training agreement
We use an electronic signature tool to sign Training agreements. These documents are safe and convenient, and they save forests :)

3) Cover the first installment payment
The first installment payment according to the signed Agreement. The payments are made in a form of bank transfers.

You will get access to the theory lessons upon completion of the enrollment process. Also, at this stage, we will issue visa-supporting documents for the Spanish visa application, if required.
